Who we are
Studio Ojeda is a small studio operated by Tony Ojeda. It publishes software tools, sometimes as automated programs ("Actors") on the Apify platform. This page describes how those tools behave.
How to recognize us
Our requests identify themselves with a User-Agent that begins with StudioOjeda, for example StudioOjedaShopifyMonitor/1.0 (+https://studioojeda.com/bots; bots@studioojeda.com).
What our tools do
- They read only publicly available pages. They do not log in, solve CAPTCHAs, or use any credentials.
- They fetch
/robots.txtfirst and do not fetch anything that robots.txt disallows for them. - They request pages slowly: at least one second between requests to the same site, with time limits, and they back off when a site responds with errors or asks them to slow down.
- They do not follow redirects, and they collect only the fields needed for the tool's purpose. Our Shopify monitor reads a store's public product catalog (
/products.json): product names, prices, and availability. It collects no customer, order, or personal data.
Ask us to stop
If you would like us to stop requesting your site, email bots@studioojeda.com with the site address. We will block it within two business days and reply to confirm. You can also add a Disallow rule to your robots.txt for the user-agent StudioOjedaShopifyMonitor; our tools honor it.
